The Suites opened up in 2018 after being known as Badger Suites Pet Motel since 1999 owned by Lynn Blackbourn. Lynn’s husband Charlie was part of the very first Small Animal Veterinary Clinics in Janesville, WI. It is currently where The Suites still resides – 1717 Holiday Drive. After the Vet Clinic (Rock Veterinary Clinic) closed its doors, the building sat empty. Lynn decided to turn the offices, examination rooms, xray room, and more into home-like overnight suites. Her granddaughter Lindsey spent many days at Badger Suites watching Lynn groom dogs, filling water bowls, feeding dogs and more. It was only natural for her to start working for Lynn once she hit high school. After going off to college and deciding it was not for her, she went back to Badger Suites and started working full time for Lynn! In 2016 Lynn was diagnosed with a rare aggressive cancer and passed away Dec 2017. Lindsey continued running Badger Suites and in 2019 made it her own calling it The Suites. Lindsey has been running The Suites since, and now has set out on another adventure.. WOOFHAUS Doggy Daycare which is now open and located at 4375 Milton Avenue in Janesville, WI!

*Lindsey has competed in AKC Dog Shows winning multiple Best Junior Handler, Best of Breed, and was Top Junior Handler for German Shorthaired Pointers several years in a row.
